In 45efa94 we introduced new mount options for the: 'aux', 'cfg', and
'var' partitions. To save boot time, we also disabled the periodic fsck
check, which does not affect journal replay or other Ext4 safety or
integrity checks. The latter involved calling tune2fs at runtime, but
this caused the following to appear for the 'aux' partition, which is a
reduced ext4 for systems that need to change U-Boot settings, e.g., to
set MAC address on systems without a VPD.
EXT4-fs: Mount option(s) incompatible with ext2
Note, this is a "bogus" warning, setting the fstypt to ext2 in fstab is
not the way around this one. That's been tried.
To make matters worse, the new mount option(s), e.g., 'commit=30', gave
us another set of warnings from the kernel. This was due to the fstype
being 'auto', so the kernel objected to options not being applicable to
every filesystem it tried before ending up with extfs:
squashfs: Unknown parameter 'commit'
vfat: Unknown parameter 'commit'
exfat: Unknown parameter 'commit'
fuseblk: Unknown parameter 'commit'
btrfs: Unknown parameter 'errors'
This commit explicitly sets cfg and var to ext4, leaving mnt as auto, we
also check before calling tune2fs that the partition/disk image is ext4.

Reduce /var image size to 128M (resized at first boot anyway) and tune
mke2fs options for faster mounting. Set ext4 'uninit_bg' feature and
use '-m 0 -i 4096' extraargs in genimage to optimize filesystem creation
and reduce overhead. The genimage tool has several tweaks enabled by
default already, the 'uninit_bg' feature speeds up the time to check
the file system.
Disable periodic fsck with tune2fs at boot while keeping safety checks
intact. Adjust mount options in fstab to reduce journal syncs and
improve boot time.
Fix severe performance regression in find_partition_by_label() that was
calling sgdisk on every block device including virtual devices (ram, loop,
dm-mapper). This caused boot delays of up to 24 seconds on systems with
many block devices. Now skip virtual devices that don't have GPT tables,
reducing the delay to ~2 seconds.
Also clean up is_mmc() function to use cached result.

Use kernel cmdline option 'usbcore.authorized_default=2' to lock all
external/user-visible USB ports by default.
The kernel distinguishes internal vs external USB ports using ACPI
methods (_UPC and _PLD) on x86/x86_64 systems. On ACPI systems, ports
marked as non-visible but connectable are considered internal (e.g.,
hard-wired USB-to-Ethernet adapters) and are automatically authorized,
while user-visible external ports require manual authorization.
However, on device tree systems the kernel lacks a standard mechanism
for identifying internal ports. The 'authorized_default=2' setting falls
back to requiring authorization for all devices on these platforms,
We list user-accessible USB ports in the device tree ('usb-ports' and
'usb-port-names'), with unlisted ports being implicitly internal and
managed separately.

This commit reverts 477f7ae and bb19d06, which intended to fix an issue
with lingering old images, see #1098. However, as detailed in #1147,
this caused severe side effects while working with multiple larger
containers. Basically, the prune operation of one container removed
images of other containers that are just being created in parallel.
Instead of using the podman prune command we can use the meta datain the
start script to pinpoint exactly which image(s) to remove, including any
downloaded OCI archives when the container instance is removed.

Add supoprt for infix-firewall.yang, modeled on the zone-based firewalld
The terminology is a mix of firewalld, classic netfilter and inspired by
Ubiquity. E.g., zone 'policy' -> 'action', and the zone matrix overview.
- Port forwarding allows forwarding a range of ports
- Operational data comes from firewalld active rules
- Firewall logging goes to /var/log/firewall.log
- Show implicit/built-in rules and zones (HOST) in firewall matrix,
includes "locked" policy for the default-drop behavior
- The zone services field in admin-exec 'show firewall' shows ANY when
the zone default action is set to 'accept'
- Zone 'forwarding' and 'masquerade' settings live in Infix in the
policys instead, meaning users need to explicitly add a policy
to allow both intra-zone and inter-zone forwarding
- Support for emergency lockdown (kill switch)
- Pre-defined services (xml+enums) are filtered and included as a
separate YANG model, extensions added for netconf and restconf
- Includes initial support for firewalld rich rules
firewalld policy rules, including rich rules, have an obnoxious priority
field which is extremely hard to get right, so in Infix we use the far
superior YANG construct 'ordered-by user;'. This ensure all rules are
generated in that order by setting the priority field, on read-back from
firewalld (operational) the priority field is used to sort the output
of rules in the CLI.

The extended kill delay (10 sec) is sometimes not enough for complex
system containers. Also, podman sometimes take the opportunity to do
housekeeping tasks when stopping a container. So, allow for up to 30
sec. grace period before we send SIGKILL.

cleanup task, in case podman gets stuck. This to prevent any future

Containers in Infix are read-only, any persistent data is either stored
in volumes or content mounts. To prevent lingering containers, as have
been seen on some test systems, we move cleanup stage from confd to use
the Finit cleanup:script mechanism.
The resulting code is simpler, shorter, and easier to debug and use.
As an added benefit, confd no longer prunes "unused" volumes by itself
on (any!) reconfiguration event, which with the new container life cycle
in Infix was quite fragile. Instead the CLI command 'container prune'
is extended with 'podman volume prune', which coincidentally the help
text already alluded to.
This patch requires Finit v4.10-rc1, or later.

When updating a container configuration we need to rerun the setup stage
of the container. However, a run/task in Finit only runs once for each
runlevel, meaning changes at runtime of a container was broken.
This is a refactor of the container script to allow it to also run as a
pre:script in the Finit setup stage of a sysv/service. Also included is
a fix to the timeout/retry handling in case the container setup fails.
We must call `read -t 60` *before* calling `ip monitor`, otherwise it
will not be called until `ip monitor` returns.
This patch requires Finit v4.9, or later.

- dnsmasq:
- allow listening to all interfaces again to serve DHCP leases
- disable most of the default DHCP options, keep broadcast and
netmask because when dnsmasq can infer these they are better
than breaking networking for clients -- note, they can still
be overridden from global/subnet/host scope -- and for relay
setups they need to be supplied anyway
- confd:
- drop per-interface dnsmasq, although practical for many use-cases,
having a per-subnet focused server means improved integration with
future stand-alone dhcp relay setup
- implement suggested, simplified, yang model

These changes are based on the sysctl recommendations by Frr [1].
Not all recommendations have been incorporated, e.g., ip forwarding is
not enabled per interface, because in Infix this is an opt-in feature.
A readme.txt has been added, documenting the various settings.
New for IPv4:
- Adjust IGMP max memberships: 20 -> 1000
- Use neighbor information on nexthop selection
- Use inbound interface address on ICMP errors
- Ignore routes with link down
- Disable rp_filter
ARP settings have been changed to better fit routers, i.e., systems
with multiple interfaces:
- Always use best local address when sending ARP
- Only reply to ARP if target IP is on the inbound interface
- Generate ARP requests when device is brought up or HW address changes
New for IPv6:
- Keep static global addresses on link down
- Ignore routes with link down

Since `conmon` only logs the output from the monitored container's
`stdout`/`stderr`, we might as well get rid of `k8s-logger`, and let
the output pass through to finit, which will then pipe the messages to
syslog.
Fix#836
This is a complete redesign of how the system creates/deletes containers
from the running-config. Containers are now removed synchronously from
confd before any interfaces they may be using are removed, and created
in parallel, using a Finit task, well after confd has finished setting
up interfaces.
The logic previously provided by execd to retry container create on any
route/address changes, or periodically every 60 seconds, is now handled
by a new 'setup' command in the container wrapper script.
Additionally, container create is now split in wget/curl/podman pull of
the image and 'podman create'. This to both consolidate image fetching
and improve user feedback since most of the retry logic (above) revolves
around the image download.

Before this change, we relied on `udevadm settle` to act as a barrier
which we could only cross after all devices had been probed. As it
turns out, when drivers defer probing due to missing dependencies,
`udevadm settle` may exit (as no events are generated for a period of
time) before all devices are set up. This was the root cause behind
issue #685, for which #752 was the initial attempt at a fix.
As we know that systems using mv88e6xxx will always have a device link
referencing the conduit interface, add a script to finit's system
runparts directory, which will block while any device link consumers
are still probing.
As a consequence of this, we can no longer rely on the sysklogd.conf
shipped with finit. Therefore, install an Infix specific one, which
will make sure that the aforementioned script has run before launching
the syslog daemon, which most other things depend on.

This patch changes the way Infix DHCP and ZerocConf clients set their
routes in the system. Instead of setting them directly in the kernel
we ask FRR staticd to set them for us.
The reason for this change is to be able to override routes from these
protocols with locally set static routes. The routes are now set with
a distance of 5 and 254, respectively, while static routes by default
have a distance of 1. In contrast, kernel routes are always treated
by Frr as distance 0, i.e., they are preferred over static routes.
Finally, this patch drops the use of Linux legacy interface aliases, or
colon interfaces, in an effort to reduce confusion for end users. This
may give some odd results if using older tools like ifconfig, so we
recommend using 'show interfaces' or 'ipb a' instead.

Apply a distance adjustment to routes retrieved from IPv4LL/ZeroConf and
DHCP to ensure that Frr (Zebra) can compare other protocol routes, e.g.,
static. Without this Frr will consider all routes read from the kernel
to have a protocol distance of 0, meaning better than static routes that
have a distance of 1.

- We only use one ipv4ll client per interface, so UNBIND can be

Note: on BIND event we may be called without first getting UNBIND on
previous address, hence the flush there too.

While sysrepo's architecture places the responsibility of choosing a
timeout on each front-end, we want to control it centrally since the
majority of the time is spend actually applying the config to the
system - which is front-end agnostic.
Therefore, create a single definition of the timeout, which can be
included by all front-ends.
The PAM plugin lastlog, previously used (optional) by Netopeer2 and
Rousette, does not rotate /var/log/lastlog, and since we don't have
cron and logrotate this can potentially fill up /var.
This patch disables pam_lastlog.so from the build and drops the two
matching session lines for both Netopeer2 and Rousette. Both still
log user access to sysrepo, so no critical functionality is lost.

Infix has the catch-all /var/log/debug, and now also /var/log/routing
for debug messages from Frr.
The log file /var/log/syslog now catches *all* messages except auth*,
which may contain secrets, except debug messages. Contrast this with
/var/log/messages which only logs info/notice/warn -- i.e., no error
and above log messages.
Due to the way syslogd parses /etc/syslog.conf et al, we override the
default in Infix to disable the default /var/log/syslog, otherwise we
would get duplicates to the same log file.
